Hello lovelies!
It is still lovely and warm here in New Zealand. And this lovely photo (credit of pexels) reminds me so much of the lovely outdoors here in New Zealand. I have created a layout to bring across the wonders of being outdoors and totally in line with the quote "Always find time for the things in life that make you happy" - so often we get so wrapped up in day to day living, we forget what a beautiful world we live in and about taking the time to enjoy its natural wonders! Here is my Dusty Attic project for March:
I have used two papers from 49 and Market Island Paradise range - the Beachy Sands paper has been torn and distressed and placed on top of the Forever Summers paper. I have then added clear gesso before applying Lindy's Stamp Gang inks and walnut stain on the Beachy Sands paper and then randomly added some stamping with black archival ink.. The clocks are from the 49 and Market Dandelion Fields laser cut sheet and the post cards from the bonus sheet that comes with that laser cut sheet. The leaves come from the Tattered Garden laser cut sheet which have layered and given dimension with foam tape.
I have inked the edges of the postcards and then distressed the edges of these as all as the photo. The chains have been embossed with Stampendous Aged Spice embossing enamel. The other Dusty Attic foliage has been painted with dark green acrylic paint.
The title, the arrows and the chicken wire have been embossed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Midnight Teal embossing powder.
I have placed some cogs between the leaves and these have been coloured with Bo Bunny Chocolate Glitter paste.
I have finished off the layout with randomly pasting some prills to give the layout an "outside" feel.
Here are the Dusty Attic products I have used which can be found over at the Dusty Attic online shop
Thanks for visiting, and taking the time to see my project :)
