Absolutely Beautiful - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans

I am so excited to share with you my layout today using the recently released Vintage Artistry in Colour Blush Collection ... it is so beautiful:

And another very exciting new product coming to 49 and Market, soon to be released are the flowers I have used on my page - Royal Spray Passion Pink - just perfect for this collection!

I have started my layout using the reverse side of the Vintage Artistry Blush Radiate paper. The frame on my photo is from the laser cut sheet in the 12 x 12 paper pack, and I then layered this on to a piece cut from the Vintage Artistry Blush Soaring paper, with layers from the Blush Ephemera pack.

From there I created my flower cluster using the new flowers Royal Spray Passion Pink, Sugar Stems Fluff and Sugar Posies Fluff. The Passion Pink flowers come with leaves as shown here - and I have used some whole and I have cut others and placed among the flowers. There are also wishing bubbles used in the centre of the flowers taken from the laser cut sheet. The wishing bubbles and baubles come in a range of beautiful patterns and words, and in different sizes - plus check out the gorgeous hearts that come with it.

The flower cluster at the top of my page is a combination of the new flowers, laser cuts, the wishing bubbles, ephemera and rub-ons.

I have then added some rub-ons under my cluster (above) - I actually cut the transfer - part is under the larger flower cluster on the left and the the rest of it is under the smaller flower cluster on the right.

I have finished off adding some rub-on splatters and some micro beads.

Thanks for the visit today!

Take care,
Michelle

Adore - Dusty Attic January Moodboard

 Hello friends

I am back on the blog for this month with a layout created with Dusty Attics January moodboard.

These are such beautiful colours and I love the blue/teal and orange hues. Here is my layout inspired by these colours:

I started with the Get Framed Postage rectangular frame set first (DA2675) - and using the outer edge that holds the postage frames together,  coloured this with the Art Alchemy Metallique wax. There are three frames in the set, and I have used the largest frame with my photo. This was first embossed using mixed media powder sea colour and then brushed over with Art Alchemy wax. The same was done to the Mystic Flourishes (DA1747) and two pieces used from the feathers by Nuneka DA2733

I started first with layering the frames and then layering the flowers.
The titles "love" and "delightful" from DA1645 were lightly brushed over with wax so as not to fill up the letters and then stuck to the flower cluster and the top corner arrangement.
Adore is one title from a pack of lovely titles to choose from DA2544.

Thanks for visiting the blog today. And there is still time to enter the moodboard challenge to win one of two chances to get a Dusty Attic voucher for AUD50 for some gorgeous chipboard. Enter your project on the Dusty Fanattics Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/1949690068580466

You Fill my Heart - 49 and Market

Hello there!

Loving these new releases for January from 49 and Market. I am showing casing a layout created from the new Vintage Artistry in Color Collectors Edition Volume 1, and new Vintage Artistry Blush/Sage Rub-on transfers:

The new Vintage Artistry in Color Collectors Edition comes with some new papers and new laser cut sheet - the leaves on my layout are used from this laser cut sheet. I have started with the Vintage Artistry Sage paper called Papillon. I have then arranged a mixture of Vintage Artistry in Colour Ephemera Sage and Coral under the photo. This has then been placed on the page using foam tape.
From here I added the transfers around my page and under the Ephemera layers
These rub-on transfers are so easy to use and can be rubbed on on top of each other to create beautiful effects - as shown in my collage.
Once I had done the rub-ons, I began layering my flowers and the leaves from the laser cut sheet.

I have used a variety of different flowers - Mauras Vineyard Rose, Sugar Posies Fluff, Sugar Stems Tutti Frutti and Stargazers Peach Sorbet. With the Fluff flowers, I have added a touch of coral pastel power to give them a "pinky" look. I have also cut up the Stargazer flowers and adding the wire twirls between the other flowers and leaves.

Among the leaves I have also added some laser cut flowers and butterflies.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.

Take care,
Michelle

Days of Summer - Dusty Attic

Hello Dusty Attic fans

A very happy New Year to you all - here is hoping that 2021 will be a better year!

I have created a summer layout today with a few of the new 2020 releases:

This is a photograph of my daughter in Akaroa - I just love this photo!
I have used Ocean Elements 2 (DA2768) and 7 (DA2773) painted with various shades of green, and painted some drift wood (DA2193) 9in browns. I started first with the Ocean Elements 7 and then layered the Oceans Elements 2 with the some fussy cut elements.

The mini seagulls (DA2686) are just gorgeous - an I painted these white and then brushed over some light blue denim paint to give it a seagull look. I even added some twine to the seagull sitting on the pole.

The mini fish (DA2774) has been painted in silver and then I added some blue lines so that it looks like an angel fish.

The title Days of Summer (DA2547) and the mini compass (DA2381) have been sponged with light blue denim paint.

These are the products I have used:
