Treasure these moments - 49 and Market

Hello lovelies,

Another amazing new release that I am lucky to feature here - Vintage Artistry in Colour Mango Collection. These colours are just exquisite and so rich and deep.

The base of my layout is the Vintage Artistry in Colour Mango Orange Blossom paper and I have used the reverse side. From here I have first added the window and shutter feature from the laser cut sheet that is included in the 12 x 12 paper collection, before layering some Mango Ephemera behind the this and adhering the layers to the page with foam tape.I have not stuck down the shutter ends so as to be able to tuck embellishments under it and give it that "open" look.
I have then added layers of flowers and leaves from the Marigold Rustic Blooms flower pack and the laser cut flowers.
The "elastic" is also from the laser cut sheet - aren't they amazing? They look so real - but it is paper. I cut this so that I was able to let it look like it was wrapped under the layers around the paper. The strip with the word "perfect" is the name strip off the paper, there some other words but I chose "perfect" to adhere to the bottom of the photo.
Once I had finished layering the flowers and the leaves, I added some Vintage Artistry Mango wishing bubbles and baubles among the flower clusters.
I also created a feature at the top of the page - using Vintage Artistry Mango rubons - and I used a flower rubon first before adding the flowers and the title "Treasure these moments" (from the laser cut sheet).
To finish off I added some flower rubons under the flower clusters and all the rubon beads around the layers and the photos.

I hope you love this beautiful colour as much as I have.

Take care,
Michelle

Love - Dusty Attic

Hello!

What a glorious moodboard Dusty Attic has for us this October month. The colours are just so pinkalicious!

These gorgeous pink shades are just beautiful! Here is my layout created using the moodboard as inspiration.

The 49 and Market blush collection is just perfect for this moodboard. I have torn the pages and adhered. I used the Starry Night Stencil (DA1763) to create some texture in the background before adding paint splatters in dark pink. I mixed a pink and orange paint to provide the colour for the fence (DA2563) adhering this under the photo.
I have then layered flowers, lace and die cuts
The tabs (DA1803) are wonderful to use on projects - with different words to use. I have chosen the tab "darling" for my layout - dabbing paint lightly on the chipboard piece so as not to fill the letters with paint.
The title "love" is painted Dusty in Colour Raisin and adhered on top of the flowers.

Filled with Joy - 49 and Market

Hello lovelies

Introducing a new collection - Vintage Artistry in Color - Teal. Teal is one of my favourite colors, and I was quite excited to get a chance to play with this new collection.

This collection is simply beautiful. I used the paper called Breeze from the 12 x 12 Paper Collection Pack as my base. Another new release are the White Washed Chipboard frames in different sizes - I have used the large rectangular frame for the photo, and adding some Vintage Essential Artistry Hardware frame hangers (also a new release) to the frames. The laser cut elastic band and bow are from the laser cut sheet in the collection pack.  I then layered the Teal Ephemera and different sizes of the White Washed Chipboard frames behind the photo.
Once I had completed the layering of the Ephemera and the Frames, I adhered this to the page with foam tape, and then layered laser cut flowers and the new blooms - White Heron Rustic Blooms with their leaves to the photo frame.
I then layered some Teal Ephemera and Teal Wishing Bubbles and Trinkets among the flowers.
I have then used a mixture of Mango and Teal Rub-ons to the page. I love how the Mango and Teal work so well together. I even added some to the edges of the White Washed Chipboard frame.

Thank you for visiting the blog today.

Till next time,
Michelle

adorable - Dusty Attic

Hello Dusty Attic fans

Welcome to October! This year sure is flying - and for us in New Zealand we are heading into summer. I have created a new layout for my October project:

I have used papers from AB Studio to create my layout. All the chipboard pieces were painted in Dusty in Colour Lavender Blush, and then brushed over with different waxes. The wording is brushed over with Stickles.
I started first with adding the photo on foam tape, before layering the flowers and fussy cut pieces. Among the layering I added the smaller window and shutter (DA2199). And under the cluster I added the foliage (DA2233). I cut up these pieces of foliage.
The pearl pendants (DA1359) were added under the flowers and leaves with some pearls.
In the flower cluster and paper pieces layered in the left of the photo I added a watering can (DA2802) and the word "delight" from the word play pack (DA1645) - also adding more foliage.
The title "adorable" is from a word pack DA1268
