Special - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market friends

I am thrilled to be able to show you a layout created with the some of the new releases this month  - using new products from the Vintage Artistry Essentials Collection

I have used papers and laser cuts from the Vintage Artistry Essentials paper collection. Starting first with adding the fence from the laser cut sheet and adding to my page using foam tape. The photos are framed using Vintage Artistry Essentials 3x4 Frame Set and then placing the round laser cut branch frame entwined around the photos. Place the film strip from the Vintage Artistry Essentials chipboard sticker sheet at an angle under the photos and adhere this to the page
Once this was adhered, I began layering the Sugar Posies blue raspberry flowers and the leaves from the laser cut sheet around my photos.
I have then added other chipboard stickers among the flowers and leaves, as well as epoxy stickers from the Vintage Artistry Sky Wishing Bubbles and Baubles.
I have also added rub-ons to my page from the Vintage Artistry Sky/Navy Rub-ons, as well as adding rub-on words on the tabs of the frames.

Then there are the gorgeous new metal clips that have also been released - and in my layout I have used the envelope clip on the photos and the arrow clip at the top of the page. These are fabulous and come in Dark Greige and Rose Gold.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.

Simply Amazing - Dusty Attic

Hello lovelies

The March moodboard is simply gorgeous - and here is my take on it

These colours are just simply beautiful .. I really loved working with this moodboard. I have used DA2733 - Feathers by Nuneka; DA2859 - Industrial Cogs scaled; DA2868 and DA2869 - Industrial wings scaled to create the elements for my page.

I have only used 3 various shades of paint and have painted the gears and wings in different colours before layering among the fussy cut flowers.

I have then taken the sentiment from the DA2545 quoted sentiments pack that reads "Paradise has never been about places. It exists in moments and connections". I have dabbed this with a gold wax before adhering to my layout. I have also added some Mini Seagulls DA2686 to the layout - inspired by the moodbaord.

I have finished off adding the title "Simply Amazing"

Absolutely Beautiful - 49 & Market

Hello lovelies

I am back today with a layout using paper from the Vintage Artistry Collectors Edition Volume 1 - paper 5 and elements from the Vintage Artistry Blush Collection.

I have started by using the frame on my photo (photo credit - pixabay) - the frame is off the laser cut sheet in the Vintage Artistry Blush Collection, behind this I have added the envelope, doily and viewfinder disc (from the Vintage Artistry Blush Ephemera pack) behind the photo, before adhering to the page with foam tape.
From here I have layered the flowers, the leaves and the butterflies from the Blush laser cut sheet. I have also added Enchanted Petals Ballet Slipper.
I have added a mixture of  the Blush and Sage wishing bubbles and baubles between and on the flowers and leaves.
The title "absolutely beautiful" is also from the Blush laser cut sheet.

The butterflies have been added by gluing down the bodies and then adding foam tape under the wings close to the body so that the wings stand up. Glitter has been added to the wings. I have then added some lace under some of the leaves and flowers.

Thank you for visiting the blog today!

Unforgettable moments - Dusty Attic

Hello friends,

I can't believe we are in March already - the last two months seem to have gone in a blink of an eye! With a new month, comes a new project and here is my layout created for March

I started with the smaller of the distressed frame first, by painting this and then adhering this to the photo. I also painted the DA1144 leafy stem - and I cut this that I had one smaller piece and one larger piece. This was painted in a very light peach colour (but its showing up more silver in the photo). I then arranged these under the photo before layering the flowers and fussy cut elements.

I painted the title and the mini foliage in the same colours. Once I had completed my layering of the flowers and the elements, I added the mini foliage and the part of the title "moments". As I started adding the "unforgettable" with the "u" on the leaf, I had to continue adding foam tape the middle letters to keep the same height across.

These are the products I have used:

Have a great March, and I will be back sometime with my March moodboard project.

Thanks
Michelle
