Adventure Awaits - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans

Hope you are all keeping well and safe. I am back on the blog today using a wide variety of products to create my outdoors layout. This is another layout of my daughter over at Washpen Falls on the South Island here in New Zealand.

The base page is the reverse side of the Vintage Artistry Shore Tritons Shell paper. The photos are framed with the frames from the laser cut sheet in the Vintage Artistry Shore 12x12 paper collection.
I have used the Vintage Artistry Hike More ephemera viewer discs behind the photos, cutting the large one in half added under the photo frames, and adding the "wraps" from the laser sheet in the Vintage Artistry Anywhere around the viewer discs and the photo frames

The flower cluster is a mix of  Royal Spray Olive and Marble paper flowers, as well as the Majestic Bouquet Marble flowers.
I have added a pair of clips from the Vintage Artistry Beached Paradise clips - to enhance the outdoor theme.
I have added in elements from the Vintage Artistry Hike More wishing bubbles and trinkets and Hike More chipboard stickers
Torn bits of strips of Vintage Artistry Essentials Washi Tape have been added to the edges of the paper and adding on the Roughly Sewn rub-ons over this, plus adding some of the rub-ons roughly sewn under the flowers and photos

The title "Adventure Awaits" is from the Hike More Ephemera. I have cut up one of the wraps and used the "knot" piece to the edge of the tag.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.

Take care,
Michelle

Totally Amazing - Dusty Attic

Hello everyone

Back on the blog today with my layout created inspired off the August moodboard

And here is my layout

This is my gorgeous niece - probably a good 5 or so years ago.
I have used a paper from 49 and Market Vintage Artistry in Lilac and fussy cut the flowers from the 8"x8" Irrevocable Beauty pack.
First I applied black gesso to all my chipboard pieces. Once dry I brushed over the pieces with Metallique waxes.

I began my layout using the Brick Wall DA2871 chippie - with the flat side under the photo and then adhering my photo on top of these.

Adding the flowers and then adding the DA0335 small scroll - these were cut up to fit with the layout. I layered the fussy flowers and tucked the mini lace border DA2527

I have added a smaller key to my heart DA1214 with ribbon between the flowers

I have also added a definition "delight" DA2942 - there are a wonderful selection of definitions - and these are really super to enhance layouts

Once all the flowers and elements were complete, I added the title "totally AMAZING" DA2039

Come take part in the August moodboard challenge and enter your project on the Dusty FANattics facebook page for your chance to win one of two $50 vouchers of Dusty Attic chipboard.

Precious - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans

Back today with an older new collection - Vintage Artistry Remnants Mini Collection. This precious photo is a friend of mines grandson and his girlfriend - and I thought it was a really lovely photo.

I have used the reverse side of the paper named "Etching" and have used bits from the laser cuts that are included in the collection pack. The paper that the photo is matted on comes from the laser cut sheet, which I have sanded down the edges before adhering the photo. I have added Vintage Artistry Sky/Navy rub-on to the page. The flowers and laser cuts were layered to make the flower clusters.

The flowers are the Marble Royal Posies flowers and a mixture of the Midnight Majestic Bouquet and Royal Posies.

I have used layers of laser cuts and flowers, added rub-ons under the clusters.
I have created a a small flower cluster in top right corner, using a rub-ons off the black roughly sewn stitch rub-ons.

Thanks for visiting the blog today!

Take care,
Michelle

Love this - Dusty Attic

Hello there,

Beginning of August already - and we are starting to see longer days in NZ as we start creeping one day at a time closer to summer (although it is still really cold here). Here is a spring-like layout just to invoke that spring fever:

We were lucky to receive a box of new goodies - and in it was the newly released set of gnomes. Of course, I just had to do a layout using at least one! Aren't they just adorable?

I started with painting the gnome (DA2966) using art alchemy metallique paints.
I created my layout layering the flowers and adding the gnome among these. I paint the foliage DA1292 in a very light green (although in my photo they look more silver) - the same paint was applied to the watering can (DA2802) and the title (DA1074).

Once I had layered all my elements, I then added my title

These are the products I have used:

Thanks for popping over to visit!

Till next time,
Michelle
