Happiness - 49 & Market

Hello there,

I hope you have all had a good Festive season. This year seems to have gone by in a blur, and it feels just like yesterday that I was writing up my last blog post for 2020, and here we are again - the end of 2021 and my last project for 49 & Market for 2021.

This Vintage Artistry in Colour Teal has to be one of my favourite collections (although I think I say that about all their collections ;)
Here I have used the Vintage Artistry Teal Flutter paper to create my layout. The photo is framed with a Vintage in Artistry Essentials Whitewash chipboard frame, with Vintage Artistry Teal Ephemera added behind the frame. This is then added to the paper with foam tape.
I then added a mixture of White Heron Rustic Bouquet and BlueJay Rustic bloom flowers with laser cuts from the Vintage Artistry Teal paper collection, also adding a camera paper clip.

I created a cluster using the same flowers and laser cuts at the top right corner of the photo, adding sequins from the laser cut sheets to the flowers. These are them coated with Stickles. Teal Wishing Bubbles and Baubles have been added among the flower cluster.
I have added the rub-on beads and sequins from the Vintage Artistry Teal Rub-ons and some wording down the right side of the photo.

Thank you for visiting the blog today. Wishing you a wonderful rest of 2021, and wishing you all a happy and safe 2022!

I will be back for 2022, for which promises to be another bumper year of awesome scrapbooking products from 49 and Market.

Take care,
Michelle

Outdoors - 49 Market

Good day friends

I am so in love with this Vintage Artistry Naturalist Collection, I had to create another layout with it.

The base paper is the reverse side of the Vintage Artistry Naturalist Meadow paper. The paper on top of this, is the reverse side of the Vintage Artistry Naturalist Rainforest paper - cut down to 11" x 11", distressed along the edges before adhering to the Meadow paper in the centre. I then added layers of Naturalist Ephemera behind the photograph before adhering to the page with foam tape.
The frame is from the lasercut sheets included in the collection pack - love the log look of it. I then layered flowers and leaves from the same laser cut sheet, adding the butterfly and adding the word Outdoors from the Ephemera pack - finishing off with a triple bow under the wing above the Outdoor tag.
I then added the Roughly sewn stitching by cutting to fit.
I ended off adding a feature to the middle of the right side of the page - using Ephemera, lasercut pieces and a chipboard sticker "days to remember". I also a little bit of rub-ons from the Anywhere rub-ons pack, like in the bottom corners of the page.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous Festive season.

Take care,
Michelle

Simply Amazing - Dusty Attic

 Hello lovelies,

Gosh can you believe it is December already? This year has sure gone by in a blur! I am back on the blog today with my December project:

The photo is compliments Pixel.com - isn't she a wee cutie? I have used paper and fussy cutting elements from a Uniquely Creative paper range. I painted all the chipboard first. The first step I did was to use the Mystic Frame #2 DA1745. This I cut in half at the circle and split them apart before adhering to the page. I added the photo with scrap pieces of chipboard so that it lay level with the Mystic Frame, and adding a tab from DA1802 "Always & Forever"
I also cut the creative script chipboard DA2201 in half and adhered on either side of the photo
I then layered my flowers and fussy cut elements, adding in the various mini  foliage DA2786 between these as I added the layers.

Lastly I added the title Simply Amazing DA2747 before adding sequins and pearls.

These are the products I have used:

Thank you for visiting the blog today.

Till next time,
Michelle
