Moments - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market Fans!

Merry Christmas to you all! This year has sure flown by rather fast! 

I have a layout to share using the ARToptions Plum Grove:

The base of my layout is the bonus sheet that is included in the Plum Grove Colored Foundations pack - I love the idea of the different coloured squares and I thought this would be really fun to embellish each square separately with photos and laser cut elements.

The lasercut elements have been added with foam tape to create layers of dimensions - which includes this gorgeous twig wreath from the Lasercut elements and flowers from the Lasercut wildflowers pack. The words added are from the Plum Grove Ephemera bits.

The middle of the page with the title Moments (also from the Ephemera pack) has been done using rubons from the 6x8 rubon transfer pack - where I have layered rubons ontop of each other, and then added the title Moments with foam tape.

Photos have been added matting these on papers from the paper packs and frames and tags from the Ephemera pack.

A Merry Christmas to you - Dusty Attic

A very mery Christmas to you all! Dusty Attic has the perfect moodboard for December - the colours in the moodboard reminded me so much of Christmas.

This inspired me to create a Christmas layout - and of course Dusty Attic has some really awesome Christmas chipboard. Here is my layout:

The paper is from Celebr8  and Stamperia. The frame is one of a few sizes from the "Get Frames-Postage- Rectangular" pack (DA2675). I painted this with acrylic paint and then added stickles, and adhered the frame to the photo. 

I have then painted the Holiday Spray (DA3172) and the Merry Christmas disc (DA3149) and have adhered these to the page, placing my photo and frame in top of these for dimension.  Stickles have been added the berries of the Spray. 

I have layered flowers and then added the gorgeous little reindeer (DA3154) to the flower cluster 

The Christmas ornaments are also painted with acrylic paint and have stickles added to them. I then thread some silver thread through, and made them "hang" from the top of the page and under the photo.

The title was added from Christmas Postmark #2 (DA3148), and I finished off with some gold Prima beads added to the Holiday Spray

BEST - 49 and Market

Hi there,

Gosh - it's the final month of the year, it seems that every year goes faster and faster. I have created another layout using the beautiful Vintage Artistry Serenity. This is a photo of my daughter, which I have used a few times on layouts, but I just love it!

I have used the paper "Peaceful Notions" from the Vintage Artistry Serenity 12x12 Collection paper pack and the blue behind the torn bits is the Paper 3, from the Vintage Artistry 12x12 Solids paper pack. I have used the same paper to cut a matt for my photo, as well using some Ephemera added behind for more matting. Once I had added the matting, I adhered the photo to the page using thick foam tape so that I was able to tuck bits under the photo. I then added the word BEST from the Serenity12x12 rubons Sentiments pack.

Using the other Serenity 12x12 rubons pack, I added some rubon leaves to the top right of the photo and the bottom left of my photo. I then began to build up my flower cluster using the Salt Wildflowers Paper flowers, and adding the fussy cut leaves using foam tape to create dimension.

In these clusters I have added Serenity chipboard pieces like the round pieces and the hearts. I have also added some elements from the Serenity Lasercut pieces. As I had used most of the blue flowers and leaves from the Lasercut sheets on a previous layout, I made use of the bonus pieces on the back of the cover page of the collection pack - there are flowers and leaves that can be cut out too.

The green leaves are included in the Wildflowers pack. I have finished off adding a rubon butterfly and the sentiment LOVED to the page.

These rubons are so amazing!

Adorable - Dusty Attic

Hello lovelies

Anyone else feel like "where did this year go"? I am sure it was January not too long ago? And here we are in December already! Here is my December project:

The layout has been created using a Mintay range of papers. I used the Leafy Frame DA1358 - and I cut about a third of of a piece off the large circular frame, painted it with acrylic paint before adhering to my page. 

I then matted my photo and tucked into the bottom of the frame under some of the branches and leaves of the frame. I then started layering my fussy cut flowers.

Once I had finished layering my flowers, I added the little beehives DA3313 and the little bees DA3314 (also painted with acrylic paint). Aren't these just adorable?

Then I added the pine sprigs DA3174 (also painted with acrylic paint) through the flower cluster 

I added the title from the hashtag sayings no 2 pack - DA1597

Merry and Bright - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans

A month to go before its Christmas - and what better way to showcase your memories by using the gorgeous range ARToptions Holiday Wishes for those Christmas photos.

I have used a combination of papers to form the base of the layout - The mainpaper is the Holly Whisps paper, which I cut down and distressed the edges, added a strip on either side cut from the reverse side of the Village paper and then added a stripout the middle of the Picking the Tree paper to the left to take the page back to 12x12. The photos were framed using Curators Essential Key Lined Chipboard Frames, adhered to the page with foam tape. I then added layers of Holiday Wishes Ephemera and Holiday Wishes Lasercut Elements behind the frames/

The little button hearts are from the lasercut elements. From here I used some of the poinsettias from the lasercut elements and also fussy cut some of these from the bonus sheet included with the Holiday Wishes 12x12 paper collection pack.

The Christmas truck, stamps, twine and holy leaves are all included with the Lasercut Elements sheets. These twine bows are just amazing! I have added a chipboard "HoHoHo" from the Holiday Wishes chipboard pack. I have also rubbed on various music notes and stars from the 6x8 Holiday Wishes Rubon pack.

I have created a cluster in the bottom left corner of the layout using fussy cut poinsettias, and twine and another cute button from the lasercut sheet. The holy leaves are all rubons from the 6x8 rubon pack, as is the word "December"

I have finished off adding the a rubon title "Merry and Bright"

So Beautiful - Dusty Attic

A lovely bright and colourful moodboard this month - it just exudes happiness!

And why not use the November moodboard as inspiration to create a project using Dusty Attic chipboard and post  it to the DustFANattics facebook page by the 30th November. You could win one of two AUD50 credits of Dusty Attic chipboard. Here is my take drawing my inspiration off the colours.

All the chipboard has been painted with a mix of chalk paint and art alchemy paint. The foliage used are DA3304 (Foliage clusters) and DA3349 (Botanic Mix). I first painted these and then added my matted photo to the page. Once dry, I arranged the leaves around these and under the photo. One of the pieces of foliage I cut into smaller pieces and added among the flower cluster.

I have used some pieces like the hearts and the jagged circular pieces from the Tabs and Starbursts (DA2946) - these were tucked in under and around the flowers.

I have added some pearls to the flowers and leaves.

The phrase "Love the life you have while you create the life of your dreams" is a sentiment from the Quoted Sentiment #3 (DA2582) - I have dabbed the sentiment lightly with a touch of paint on a sponge so as not to fill the words with paint.

I have created a little cluster in the top right corner, using some of the foliage and adding the word disc from the Page Pebble #3 collection (DA1107) So beautiful, which is the title of my layout.
