Beautiful Moments - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans

Today  have created a layout using the Vintage Artistry in Colour Coral papers and Tangerine flowers, sticthed frames, Wishing Bubbles and some Washi Tape

I have used a few papers here, starting with the Modern Romance paper, tearing the top - and not cutting off the bar code strip, keeping the stripe bit as part of the layout. Tear a piece out of Fleur, and using the top piece of Fleur and adding it to the top of Modern Romance to make up the 12 x 12 layout and adhering the other torn piece to the Modern Romance piece. Tuck the medium size Lacey Trim under the top and bottom of the torn Fleur piece. Using Sage washi tape, make some strip features along each side edge of the page. The stitched frames have been added in layers under the photo to create a mat and one added on  top of the photo as a frame. This was adhered to the page on double foam tape in order to tuck the flowers under.
I fussy cut the flowers from the Love Letters paper, which I have layered among the Tangerine flowers and the Cashmere stargazers flowers. There are some leaves and butterflies used from the laser cut sheet in the Vintage Artistry in Colour Sage. There are also leaves from the Eucalyptus layered embellishments. The birds are fussy cut from the cut out sheet in the 8 x 8 Irrevocable Beauty paper collection.
I have finished off stamping randomly with the script stamp from the Postcards from Paris stamp set, and then adding cream soda wishing bubbles.

Thank you,
Michelle

Moments Captured - 49 and Market

Hello there,

Today I have scrapped a layout using a photo of a dear friend's grand daughter - when I saw the photo I just had to do a layout. She is just soooo cute.

The base paper is from the 12 x 12 Irrevocable Beauty collection pack - using the reverse of the cover of this collection. I have coloured the flowers petals in with red chalk pastels, adding some splatters of white acrylic paint. Layered some of the Vintage Collage Stack Naturals behind the photo and placed this with foam tape on the page, adding dimension to tuck flowers under. A mixture of Country Blooms Storm , Potpourri Red and Poppy Blossom Blends have been layered around and under the photo.

The 8x8 Irrevocable Beauty pack has a cut out sheet with flowers - I have fussy cut all the daisy flowers off this sheet and included these among the rd and grey flowers. There are also leaves, the red locks and the gorgeous little lady bugs added to the page - also the adorable sandals - these are from the Irrevocable Beauty laser cut pack. There are also some leaves from the laser cut sheet that is included in the 8x8 Bold & Beautiful paper pack, plus some archival pieces from the white treasure and great outdoors chipboard. I have also stamped randomly with the script stamp from Gabi's stamps "Postcards from Paris" set and then added a stitch border with Gabi's Line Stitch stamp.
I have finished off adding some of the lady bugs and some art stones.

Here are some more closeups:

Thanks for visiting,

Take Care,
Michelle

Timeless Moments - Dusty Attic

Hello Dusty Attic Fans

Today I am up on the blog with a layout inspired by the April moodboard

I was inspired by the shape of the seed pods, they reminded me of stars - so I have bought some star chipboard into my layout. I love these colours and also thought that sepia photos were perfect with this moodboard. Here is my take on the moodboard for April:

I have gone with using a paper from the Old School Collection from 49 and Market. I then stenciled in a circular space using the burlap stencil and a dauber and ink, and then stamped around this. I have sprayed all my chipboard using Lindy's Stamp Gang inks, as well as spraying some of the flowers.
I have added the smaller circular frame first, and then added my papers and photo with a rectangular frame, to the side of the circular frame. I then started layering the flowers and stars.
I have added in a compass and two of the titles from the mini tags, sanding the edges of the tags.
Cut the small frame with the three hearts from the Polaroid frames - using the hearts part as a tag.
The other end of the frame has been used in the flower cluster at the top right of the page.
I have added some sequins and prills to finish off.

These are the products I have used

Till next time, take care
Michelle

Find the Beauty in Everyday - Dusty Attic

Hello Dusty Attic fans

Hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Today I am up on the blog with a new layout for April.
Love this photo of my daughter - and she is indeed beautiful inside and out - and I found the title Find the Beauty in Everyday appropriate. I have started with tearing the papers, and then stencilling with the Dusty Attic script stencil and some gold texture paste. I have then layered my papers and painted all my chipboard in gold (except for the butterflies).
I have cut up the star banner and added these as elements under my photos and flowers, and then added stars from the #4 set.
I have added a zipper feature - it is one of the older releases but still one of my favourite!
I have added some butterflies to finish off

These are the products I have used:
