Memories - 49 and Market

Hello Scrappy friends

Hope you are all keeping well. I am back on the blog today, and have created a layout using some of the recently released flowers. They are absolutely super cool, and the colours are amazing.

The is Vintage Artistry Anywhere collection is one of my favourites, and today I want to show you that the collection does not have to be used just for travel, and can be adapted to suit any layout you create. This is a layout featuring my daughter and I. We did a photoshoot with Kate Christie about 6 years ago for her to make a Mother and Daughter photo collection book, with proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
I have used the Vintage Artistry Anywhere Edges paper from the 12 x 12 pack as my base page. I have also used a number of pieces from the lasercut sheet in the 12 x 12 pack, as well as Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Ephemera. The filmstrip and Ephemera are used behind the photo. For my photo, I added one 6 x 4 die cut frame, adding the paper "elastic band" from the lasercut sheet and then added several layers of frames behind this at angles. The edges have all been distressed. I then cut one of the smaller elastic bands and added these around the edge of one of the frames and the Ephemera. I slipped a metal clip "Memories" over the frame tag.
I then added layers of flowers - I used the entire packet of Ocean Jade Royal Posies (so hard not to ;) - these are just gorgeous with their two tone colours.
I have also added some stems from the Vintage Artistry Wedgewood lasercut sheet. In the photo above and the photo below, you can also see how I have used the Anywhere rub-ons to create a "stamped" effect around my flowers and photos.

In the corners I have cut up pieces of Anywhere rub-ons to look like washi tape - I really love how this turned out.
I have added the laser cut sequins from the Wedgewood laserrcut sheet and coloured these with Stickles glitter.

Thanks for visiting the 49 and Market blog today.

Take care,
Michelle
