Escape - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market friends

I am so excited about sharing today's post, because my layout features many new products that are being released next month, and this is only the tip of the iceberg - as there is lots more exciting products coming........

The paper is Vintage Artistry Everyday Solitude paper. Featured here are the brand new Vintage Artistry Anywhere Embellishments - which are the Rub-Ons, Ephemera and Bubbles and Trinkets. There will be a full collection pack of gorgeous papers and laser cuts sheets in this range too. Also featured on my page is the new Frame Sets and the Vintage Artistry Essentials Foliage.
Even amid our stricken travels, thanks to Co-vid, this new Vintage Artistry Anywhere Collection is sure to delight - and perfect to create those special memories. As I have done here with our cruise that we did back in March 2019. It certainly bought back memories of the lovely cruise we had - and isn't that the best thing about scrapbooking, it's about those memories.

The new Vintage Artistry Anywhere Ephemera has new elements which now include words, and other lovely shapes and layering elements.

The new Vintage Artistry Anywhere Rub-ons are also gorgeous - I have cut these up and added these around my page, as you can see in this photo above and in the photo in the left corner below. They are perfect - looks like I have been stamping, but its the rub-ons that are sooo effective!
And then there are the new Vintage Artistry Essentials Foliage pack - the are 38 pieces of gorgeous acetate pieces (leaves and butterflies) - 2 of each design. The Essentials is also a new range due for release soon, which also has super cool new embellishments, and papers to match - exciting, isn't it?
The other new product, are the frame sets - and these come in three different sizes - with loads of product in them. Here I have used the 6 x 4 frame set, which I have layered three of the frames on top of each other. Each frame has a tab at different ends of the frame, so here I have layered each one, and added rub-ons to each tab.

I have used lots of layers, using foam tape to the Ephemera and the frames to build up my page. The Baubles and Trinkets are super gorgeous - with wishing bubbles, words (like the word "escape" as my title and the "let's travel" in the middle of the location pointer - plus I have added bubbles randomly on the page.

I have made the small flower cluster in the corner using twine, and a few flowers from the Sugar Posies Raspberry and Tutti Frutti pack.

Hope you are looking forward to these new products as much as I have had fun using them.

Take care,
Michelle

{Sassy!} - Dusty Attic February Moodboard

Hello Dusty Attic friends

I am back today with a new layout created for Dusty Attic using their gorgeous moodboard for February.

This is soooo gorgeous. How about taking part in the Challenge and creating a layout using the moodboard and posting your take on the Dusty FANattics facebook page  - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1949690068580466 - your entry could win you one of two AUD$50 voucher to use at Dusty Attic!
Here is my take on the moodboard using the colours as my inspiration:
All chipboard (except the title) has been coloured using Prima Alchemy Wax rubbed directly onto the chipboard. I have started with trimming down my base page to about 11,5 inches x 10 inches, which was just long enough and wide enough to add the Fancy Trim #20 Chipboard DA2532 on the top and bottom of the page (the page was also adhered to the bottom page with chipboard to keep the height for the trim). The skeleton clock DA1689 was adhered and the distressed frame DA2673 added on top of the clock and then adding Spring Vine #1 DA2790 to the right of the frame and under it - this will hold the frame in place.

I then began layering the flowers around the frame adding the two other Spring Vines #2 and #3 DA2791 and DA2792

The title "{Sassy!} are picked from the Tall and Lean ABC set DA2697 - these are painted with Prma Alchemy paint. I chose this title as this is such a cheeky photo of my daughter. She was asked to be a model for a photography company here in Christchurch, NZ called One Camera Photography. I love this photo - really sassy!

These are the products I have used:

Hope to see your take on the challenge up on the Dusty FANattics Facebook page.

Take care,
Michelle

Me - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market friends

My layout today was a challenge for me, as I don't usually scrapbooking myself. I went along to a scrapbook crop day at our local store recently, and my friend encouraged and challenged me to do a layout of myself. Using the Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Collection, here is my layout

The colours in this collection are just gorgeous and I really loved working with it. The base of my layout is the bonus paper that comes inside the collection pack which is on the reverse side of the cover. There are 2 sheets of exclusive laser cut elements. These are really fabulous - even have paper sequins, which I have used on my layout adding a little bit of Stickles and raising them on foam tape.

I have built up my flower cluster using flowers and the laser cuts. A tip here is to cut up the laser cuts which gives you more elements to add. I have done this with the blue leaves, the blue flower sprigs and the orange flowers. For the flowers, that I have used in my flower cluster, I have used the Salmon Enchanted Petals; the Salmon Pixie Petals and the darker blue smaller flowers from the Blue Raspberry Sugar Posies flower pack.

And the Wedgewood rub-on transfers - oh wow, these are amazing. Here in my photo above, I have first added the blue number/printed rub-on on the last sheet, and then I have added some of the brown print on top of this - these rub-ons are ideal to add on top of each other to give a really great effect.

I just love the rub-on pieces with the butterfly! I have added a few pieces from the rub-on sheet around my photos and flowers. The photo is matted on a range of Vintage Artistry Wedgewood Ephemera.

And as a little tease ... there is a new release product on my layout that 49 and Market are bringing out towards the end of February and these are stunning - brand new frames in various sizes and there are plenty in each pack - these are the Vintage Artistry Essentials File Frame Sets! I have used one that I have framed my photo with 😍

Thanks for visiting the blog today.

Till next time,
Michelle

Stolen Moments - Dusty Attic

 Hello Dusty Attic fans

We are having a sweltering hot day here in New Zealand as I write this - summer is great, but I am not a fan of excessive heat. My layout today is of my daughter at her formal in her last year at school - and with Dad - I love this photo of the two of them.

My husband rarely smiles in photos - and here he was caught off guard talking to someone and I managed to get the snap shot - hence my title "stolen moments"

I have started with the decorative frame, painted this with Dusty in Colour Dusty Pink paint and adhered this to the page, cutting the photo to fit in the circular frame.
From there I layered my flowers to make up the flower cluster. I painted the chipboard foliage in gold, and when this was dry added salmony coloured paint to the bud parts of the foliage. I cut these foliage chippy into smaller pieces to tuck in among the flowers.

I then added Unicorn stickles to the chipboard frame.
While I waited for the stickles to dry, I painted the title stolen moments before adhering to the frame and the page.
I also added a flower cluster to the top of the page using the foliage chipboard pieces.

These are the products I have used:

Thanks for popping over to visit the blog today.

Till next time,
