Cherish - Dusty Attic Mood Board

Hello there!

Here is my take in the lovely moodboard for August. Gosh I just love this moodboard ... so inviting, I would just love to be there .....
Here is my take on the moodboard inspired by the colours
I have used some of the new release chippies - they are just so gorgeous!
I have started off with clear gesso on the page. Once this as dry, I stencilled the background with texture paste using the Dusty Attic Knitting Stencil. The background chipboard is from the Polaroid Frame Set #1. I have used the outside frame and one of the slides with the cherish word. The photo was then placed on this frame.
I used Creative Expression Gilding Polish to colour all my chipboard. I first done the frame and placed this on top of the photo before I added fussy cut flowers.
Once this was all placed. I the tucked in the Tropical Foliage #6 under the flowers, and added some Blooms #3. And I just had to add the gorgeous little mini shells - they are just so cute.
I finished off the page adding some art stones and adding some ink around the edges of the design.

I love my Cat - Dusty Attic

Hello everyone!

Oh my goodness! I am just loving all the new dog and cat chipboard releases - and I have used the new cat chipboard to do my project for you today.

I have used some Mintay Berrylicious paper to create my layout, tearing the 2nd paper added to the base page. The chipboard has all been painted in white first, and then once dry, have added Dusty in Colour paints and painted these (Watered down). Once these were dry I then sanded them.
I started with attaching the photo to the frame (isn't this frame just adorable with all the cat icons?), then arranging matting papers behind. These were then adhered to the page with foam tape. I then added the flower cluster to the side adding in the dusty attic blooms and the cut cat paw chippies.
I have then added the broken bits of mesh in the cluster as well as around the frame, and add the fish bones from the cat icon chippie.
I have finished off adding some 49 and Market wishing bubbles, some stamping and then adding some blue paint around the papers and flowers to left the photos and the flower feature.
Just love the cat icons on this frame.

Love - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans!

I have created a new layout which I would like to share with you today.
I so enjoyed putting this layout together. The photo is compliments of Pexels.com. I started the layout with the Singing the Blues paper from the Sweet Reflections range, which I covered with clear gesso, before adding some stencilling and stamping. I then added blue, pink and white ink splatters on the page.
I then started layering with flowers, some fussy cutting, laser cuts and chipboard around the photo. The flowers used were a mixture of Country Blooms Cobalt, Country Blooms Blush, Wildflowers Blush and Stargazers Simply White. I also fussy cut flowers from Sweet Reflections Crossroads paper, and used some of the Sweet Reflections laser cut pieces.

I have added in some chipboard pieces using the white Love Archival Chipboard. I coloured the lock in pink and blue, and added Wink of Stellar to the leaves. I have also added Wink of Steller to the some of the flowers and the wings of the dragonfly.

I have finished off adding some microbeads and using Bubblegum and Blueberry Wishing Bubbles.

Thank you for stopping by!

Great Outdoors - 49 and Market

Hello everyone!
Today I decided to do something a little different, and do a male layout, using a mixture of layered embellishments, chipboard, papers and laser cuts.

The frame is from the Serendipitous Collection, and the easy cut images page. I cut out the frame to the B side of the The Journey paper from the Collection Captured Adventures. I have sanded the frame and then dry-brushed some gold paint over the frame.
I have stamped on the back ground paper and then started layering with laser cuts from the Vintage Remnants set no 1, using the page piece. This I cut about an inch and half off the bottom, distressed and then sanded it. The film strip is from the Vintage Remnants set no 2.

The chipboard chain and the clock come from the Memory Captured Archival Chipboard, and the title from the Great Outdoor Archival chipboard set. These have been painted with rusty paint, and has the grit in it to resemble rust. I have then layered cogs from the Serendipitous layered embellishments, and leaves and bubbles from the Ethereal layered embellishments.

The love this moment comes off the laser sheet in the 6x6 paper pack of the Captured Adventures paper. I have finished off adding some prills to the layout.
