Thankful - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans

Just when you think I love a range, a new one comes out and I fall in love all over again. Here is another beautiful release ... Whispering Way (and isn't the name of this Collection just gorgeous too?!)

I have used the Mustard yellow from the Whispering Way 12 x 12 solid papers. I then used the Sunshine Days paper from the Whispering Ways 12 x 12 paper collection, tearing this down about half an inch all round before adhering the page to the Mustard yellow paper, curling up the torn edges with my fingers. I have then used the square pattern of the Whispering Way fabric tape and cut this like stairs - worked out where I would like to add my photo and the adhered the fabric tape to the paper, before adding my photo, using the bonus sheet from the solids paper collection for the matting. I then used the large circle frame from the chipboard pieces and cut this in half adhering each half under the photo. Isn't this chicken wire from the lasercut elements just fabulous - this has been added to the left of the photo on the circle edge and the right top corner of the photo. 

To create the clusters, flowers and leaves from the Wildflower lasercuts pack have been, adding these with foam tape and shaping them to create dimension. I also added rub-ons and then the cart, adding some flowers above the cart - so it looks like it's all in the cart. Can you spot the little field mouse in the wheat below - such adorable little farm animals in the elements lasercuts pack!

The title "Thankful" from the chipboard pieces has been edged with the 49 and Market Ranger Ink Cappuccino. 
I have also added the chipboard piece with the wording "The Echo of Laughter in the Barnyard Lives On". (There are some other great phrases included in the chipboard pieces pack :)

I have added the baby cow and baby goat to the fence, and finished off creating a little feature in the bottom right corner of the page - using lasercut elements.

The edge of the layout has been inked with 49 and Market Ranger Ink - Cappuccino and also blended some ink on the page to finish off.

Today, I am on the blog with another layout created using the gorgeous Botanical Buzz Collection

The base of my layout is the reverse side of the Lush paper from the 12 x 12 paper collection pack. The photo is framed with a frame from the Die Cut Elements pack adhered to the page with foam tape. I then added the transfer rub-ons around the frame, then the honeycomb - also from Die Cut Elements. The fence was added next, before I began building up the flower cluster.

Using the large flower out of the Nature's Bounty Canary flowers, I then built up my layers around this using the Canary flowers and lasercut elements. 

Aren't these rubons just lovely - and I love the quote from the rubons.

I finished off using the Puffy Stickers "BE - you - TIFUL as the title for my page.

Remember the Little Things - 49 and Market

Oh my - the new collection "Echoes of Time" is just absolutely gorgeous, and I had so much fun creating a layout using this beautiful collection.

I used the Paper Rose from the 12 x 12 Solids collection pack as my base, and then used the Serene paper from the 12 x 12 collection pack tearing the top right and bottom left corners, before adhering to the Paper Rose paper and curling up the edges with my fingers. 

I then added irresistible times rubons to the page first - the one that looks like chicken wire, and cut this up added them to the page before rubbing on Ranger Pink Sands Dye ink.

The two photos are framed with frames from the Die Cut Elements pack. The top frame has been added to the page with a single foam layer and the bottom frame added with a double layer of foam tape. 

I have then began layering the clusters around the frames using the Wildflower lasercuts and Elements lasercuts. These have been layered with foam tape to create dimension.

I have added rubons here and there. I have added glossy accents to the little clock faces and the little circular bits. I also added the chains to the frame - these are from the Elements Die Cuts. The title "Remember the Little Things" from the die cuts was added to finish off the layout.

Nature's Playground - 49 and Market

So loving the Nature's Haven - I have created another layout called Nature's Playground

I have used the reverse side of the Blossom Sprinkle paper in the 12 x 12 Collection pack, tearing a little bit at the top and bottom of the page, and adding the Strawberry Love paper from the Solid 12 x 12 sheets page. I have layered behind the photo with die cuts, and used a wooden frame from the same pack. I adhered this with foam tape and then layered lasercuts from both the elements and wildflower pack.

I have created layers with the tree pieces, and the wagon wheel and the wildflowers. Aren't these mushrooms and the fox just adorable? And to add to that cuteness - the little field mouse I have added to the flower cluster at the left corner cluster at the bottom of the photo.

I continued clustering up the left side and added the title "Nature's Playground" using the Puffy Stickers - these are really cool!

I finished off adding rub-on transfers and the banner to the top right of the page. I added a piece of tape to the top of the triangle and glued the point end to lift the banner.

Capture the Moment - 49 and Market

Curiosities in Willow Grove - I just love the name of this collection and of course, another fabulous design by Vicki Boutin!

The photo was first matted with pieces from the Journaling Bits pack, some edges distressed. This was then adhered to the page with foam squares (at the centre - leaving the edges to create flower clusters and to tuck in the laser cut pieces). Isn't the paper clip just adorable - there are a few of these in the Journaling Bits pack.

Using papers and tear them as shown and adhere - the lace bits from the Laser Cut Elements adhere under the papers. There is also a circular branch laser cut in the Laser Cut Elements pack that I first cut in half and adding a half at the top right corner and the bottom left corner, before layering flowers and leaves from the Laser Cit Foliage pack.

There are some great words and titles in the Journaling Bits pack which I have used over the flowers and as the title. I have also added Rub-on Transfers around the photo and flower clusters, and the edges of the layout.

HoHoHo - 49 and Market

Hello 49 and Market fans

It is starting to warm up here in New Zealand, as we head towards spring and summer. I have created a layout using Vicki Boutin's amazing new Mistletoe and Memories collection, designed for 49 and Market. 

The base of my layout is a sheet from the 12 x 12 paper pad. I have then used frames from the chipboard basics pack for my photos. The middle frame is mounted on a double layer of foam, and the two on either side with one layer of foam and the ones on the edge are adhered directly to the paper.

I have then layered around the edges of the frames with essential rub-on transfers and blendable rub-on transfers, and layering lasercut elements, laser cut foliage, and die-cuts to create clusters.

Flowers and leaves were added with foam tape to create dimension.

The little cluster at the bottom of the page was done with a mix of laser cuts, rub-ons, and die-cuts.

To finish off, I added a dinner plate to the layout and blended the new 49 and Market Ranger Dye Ink Green Jean around the plate to create the circle in the layout.

Kindness makes you beautiful - 49 and Market

Botanical Buzz - oh my word - this collection is just beautiful - and I am just loving the colours! Here is my layout created with this gorgeous collection.

I have used the Solids 12 x 12 paper collection number 1 paper and tore down the bonus page from the 12 x 12 Collection pack, which I adhered to the solids paper. I have glued the photo to the brick arch laser-cut element and then added 2 hexagon frames from the Die Cut Elements. I then adhered this to the page with foam tape. I then adhered rub-on transfers to the page. The fence was adhered to the page with foam tape, and added the flower box and pot laser cut elements to the right side.

Then I added laser-cut elements, flowers, and built this up in a cluster using foam tape.

On the left side, I added the wheelbarrow and tools. I then built up a flower cluster with foam tape.

The title "Kindness makes you beautiful" is from the chipboard words.

I have thoroughly enjoyed creating with this collection.

Summer Vibes - 49 and Market

Hello lovely 49 and Market Fans

Today I am on the blog with the gorgeous, vibrant Beach Vibes collection. Makes me long for summer (it's mid-winter here in New Zealand)! 

These photos were taken in April 2024, when we went to Khoa Lak (an hour from Phuket), Thailand. This was the view from our chalet at night! How else to showcase this magic moment than with this gorgeous Beach Vibes collection?!

I have used Solid Sheet number 1 from the Beach Vibes Solid Paper 12 x 12 pack. From the 12 x 12 paper Collection pack, I have used the bonus page which is on the back of the cover of this pack. I have torn this and adhered to the page curling up the edges with my fingers to try and create a wave effect.

I then used frames from the Die-cuts Elements pack for the photos, and adhered these to the page with foam tape. I first added the palm tree from the Laser Cut Elements, and then began layering with Nature's Bounty Canary flowers and Canary Florets, plus flowers and leaves from the laser cut elements.

I have also added other elements from the laser cut elements pack like the piece of wood log, and the bottles of shells. I then added a pair of jandals (flip-flops) to the "log"  from the puffy stickers pack.

The leaves have been added with foam tape under to create dimension. I have also added some rub-on transfers under the flower cluster. Next, I created a cluster on the right of the smaller photo, also using laser-cut elements. How cute is that boat!

I created another cluster in the above the photos in the middle where the photos meet with flowers and puffy stickers surfboards, and some rub-on transfers 

To finish off, I have added a chipboard title "Summer Vibes". I have brushed the flowers very lightly with white acrylic paint.

Life is an Adventure - 49 & Market

Oh my gosh!! Isn't this Nature's Haven just the cutest - and just so divine! I just love this new release. Here is my layout created with this gorgeous range

Isn't this range just adorable? And I couldn't resist the photo I found on Pinterest for this layout.  The base of the layout is the solids forest sheet from the 12x12 Solids Collection pack. I then tore the bottom edge (about 3 inches) of the Blossom Sprinkle (just love the name of this paper!) from the 12 x 12 Collection Pack, and adhered this to the Forest paper with about half an inch off the top of the Forest paper.  I matted the photo with a piece of the solids paper Strawberry Love and then placed the frame from the Natures Haven Die Cut Elements ontop and adhered this to the page on foam tape, allowing to create flower clusters and the fences to tuck under this.

I first started with the fences and wagon wheel from the Laser Cut Element set, before adding flowers, strawberries and leaves from the Laser Cut Wildflower set. 

Aren't these little animals just the cutest - also from the Laser Cut Element set.

I then finished off adding the little light bulb branch feature and some flowers at the top of the page - adding foam tape to this, including under the light bulbs.
