Sketchabilities June 2018 Reveal

 Hi there!!

Sketchabilities is back - yay! I am sooooo excited to be on this amazing design team, and so look forward to creating pages with their gorgeous sketches, with reveal day every 15th of the month. They have picked up where they left off - and today marks sketch no #150:

For my first reveal I have used some papers from 49 and Market. And here is my take on the sketch:

Here I have used the the "Looking Through" papers from 49 and Market, and their gorgeous range of flowers. I have stamped behind each photo, and then layered my flowers over a Dusty Attic chipboard design. There are also some prills dotted here and there. I have also fussy cut out some of the fairies and flowers which I have added between the flowers. I have then used chalk and rubbed this on the outline to emphasis the photos and the flowers.

Come and play along with us at Sketchabilities - have a look at the other layouts done by the rest of the design team, they are gorgeous! Hope to see you up on the blog!

White with ... 1 June 2018 Challenge

Hello from a very cold New Zealand

Winter is sure making it's presence felt ... and it has sure been cold here in Christchurch. But we are in June ... hello winter! And yes - a new month, means a new challenge over at White ... with 1. Just love the colour for this month SPACE FRONTIER ...

As the White with 1 blog states: The Colour this month might just take you boldly where no-one has gone before ....

And here is my take with this colour ...

Here I cut down my white cardstock to 11,5" x 11.5" and distressed it slightly. This was mounted onto a grey paper from 49 and Market range. I then used texture paste and a brick stencil, and then sprayed with ink as well as using a wet wipe and dabbed ink onto the page. I also used a script stamp randomly stamping.I finished off by using layers of washi tape and then lightly brushing over these with some gesso.
I inked the chippie title - love this chippie from 2 Crafty.
Would love to see your take on the challenge and see it up on the White with 1 blog.

We have a long weekend here in New Zealand ... and the weather looks rather dismal, so I think some scrapbooking might just be in order......

Until next time ....
