Bo Bunny "You're Invited" range

Snapchat Pro and Happy Memory

This month I was given the lovely Bo Bunny range "you're invited" to play with as part of my role on the design team for The Paper Teapot.

Here are the two layouts I created with the range:

White with 1 - November challenge

Hello again

White with one Challenge - the month of November is grape month:

I have a few embellishments in the likes of flowers, card stock with this colour - but have just never gone as far as using these, so thank you White with 1 for making me use a colour in my stash I don't get to use often ... so here is my take on the November challenge:

My lovely husband of 25 years, son (22) and daughter (19) - they are my life ....

You coloured our lives

This is my entry to the Scrap Around the World Challenge for the month of October
Here is the mood board:

Scrap Around the World October Challenge

These colours inspired me to create a layout of a very special friend of 21 years, that passed away after a 19 month battle with cancer recently. She was a true inspiration - a friend who always puts other needs first. She was one of the most selfless people I know and what amazed me the most was her zest for life, her positive approach to life - and even through her illness, her strong will and positive attitude shone ..... she was given 3 to 6 months to live, she fought it for 19 months, and not once did she ever complain about her illness or her pain .... a strong woman right to the end. The journalling I took from her memorial service sheet and reads "God saw her getting tired, a cure was not to be. He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered 'come with me'. She suffered much in silence, her spirit did not bend. She faced her pain with courage, until the very end. She tried hard to stay with us but her fight was not in vain, God took her to His loving home and freed her from her pain"

She loved bright colours - and was always happy - so although this may be of her passing, we as friends and family should always remember the happy memories she left us - because indeed she did make us very happy whenever we were with her. RIP in my very special friend.

The layout was created using coloured pastel chalks, water misted and then painting them downward strokes with a rough paint brush. After this dried I added iridescent gold Glimmer Mist to the page.
